IOL attended the South African Film and Television Nominees Dinner 2016 Awards.

It was an evening held in honour of our South African television stars, who certainly dressed for the occasion.

Zama Mkosi, CEO of the National Film and Video foundation, delivered a warm welcome speech and spoke about what the SAFTAS’s Golden Horn symbolises. “The Golden Horn symbolises a collective effort and collaboration that iskey to the SAFTA’s success. The theme for the 2016 is ‘IMAGINE’ – reflect on how far we have come and what more we still need to do”.

Golden Horn Award winner Tumisho Masha also gave a brief introduction of the nominee dinner programme.

Katlego Maboe was MC for the night and he did a splendid job as always.
