A name that's totally synonymous with reliable but staid transportation is set to take a somewhat more exciting twist with the release of the next generation.
The new Toyota Corolla will be revealed on 6 June but Toyota already whet our appetite with a concept version at the Detroit show in January and now they've shown us a teaser shot of the production model.
Granted, the teaser doesn't show us more than the taillights and rear spoiler, but it gives us hope that the showroom car will resemble the concept in many respects.
Toyota South Africa says that the new sedan won't reach our shores this year, but many rumours are pointing towards a local debut early next year.
