Toyota is ready to take another stab at Europe's bambino war with its all-new Aygo city car.
Once again, the little Toyota will share its platform with two PSA group hatchbacks - in this case the new Peugeot 108 and next-generation Citroën C1.
However, the Toyota is likely to have more distinctive styling to differentiate it from its French siblings.
All we have to go on for now is the accompanying teaser image, showing that the new Aygo will have a more aggressive front end that follows in the footsteps of the latest Auris.
That said, expect the Aygo to share its three-cylinder petrol engines with the Peugeot, namely a 51kW 1-litre VTi and 61kW 1.2-litre VTi.
All will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March, where city car buyers will also be able to check out the new Peugeot 108 and Renault's rear-engined Twingo .
