What we see here could be the first official picture of Toyota's upcoming GT 86 sedan concept. We say "could be" because the photo wasn't released by Toyota.
Instead it was posted on the official Facebook page of the Dubai International Motor Show and then later removed, meaning someone could have made an admin error by accidentally leaking a confidential image ahead of its possible debut at the show.
Last month IOL reported that Toyota has given the green light to a four-door version of the 86 coupé.
Our source, motoring.com.au, claimed that the sedan would benefit from a wheelbase that's 100mm longer, in order to address the coupé's complete absence of any rear legroom.
As for the engine line-up, it's almost certain that the base model would be powered by the familiar 147kW/205Nm 2-litre normally aspirated boxer petrol engine, while many rumours also point towards a 200kW flagship version sporting a petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain.
