Cape Town – President Jacob Zuma was in high spirits when he addressed hundreds of supporters who had gathered at the Grand Parade for the ANC's People's Assembly.
The president told the crowd that the opposition MPs who had held up his State of the Nation Address for more than an hour were "not serious about the country" and "chose not to listen" to his speech. Zuma stressed the importance of the annual address as a "report to the people."
