A 26-year-old British content creator tragically died after falling from one of Spain's tallest bridges in Talavera de la Reina.

In a statement, the mayor’s office said the unidentified man died on Sunday after attempting to climb the Castilla-La Mancha bridge to create content.

Local councillor, Macarena Muñoz said the man was accompanied by another British man, aged 24, but he survived.

Muñoz said climbing the bridge was totally prohibited.

“We have reiterated on many occasions that it cannot be done under any circumstances,” she said.

Muñoz added that both men had travelled to Spain to climb the bridge to create content for social media platforms.

“We have been able to learn they had come to Talavera to go up to the bridge and create content for social networks, which has resulted in this disastrous and sad outcome".

“The judge and the forensic doctor have already lifted the body that has been transferred to the funeral home,” she concluded.

In July, a 27-year-old travel content creator, Aanvi Kamdar, died after falling into a gorge while visiting the Kumbhe waterfall in India.
