Kaizer Chiefs fans have issued a stern warning to Mamelodi Sundowns after the two teams were drawn to face each other in the quarter-finals of the Carling Knockout Cup.
The Soweto giants progressed to the quarter-finals after thrashing SuperSport United 4-0 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, while Sundowns booked their spot in the next round of the competition after defeating Golden Arrows 5-0 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
However, Amakhosi fans still seem wounded after they suffered a controversial 2-1 defeat to Sundowns in last month's league clash.

During that game, Sundowns striker Iqraam Rayners scored after receiving a pass from Lucas Ribeiro, who appeared to have been in an offside position.
Amakhosi also had a goal disallowed in the dying minutes of the game when defender Inácio Miguel was deemed to have committed a foul in the box before scoring past Ronwen Williams.
The decisions did not sit well with some Amakhosi fans, who pelted match officials with objects as they attempted to leave the pitch after the game.
The Soweto giants were ultimately fined R150,000 by the PSL for “spectator misbehaviour“, while Safa’s head of referees, Abdul Ebrahim defended the match officials.
Following the confirmation that the two teams will face each other once again, Kaizer Chiefs fans took to X to issue a warning to Sundowns.
@malekatokel called Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi to prepare Njabulo Blom ahead of the crucial encounter, as Yusuf Maart was comfortable with the ball at his feet.
“I have nothing to say to sundowns fans and their big mouths. Let's cook. Get Njabulo Blom ready for that number 6 position then we're good to go,” he wrote.
“Maart is not comfortable with the ball and he's losing it in dangerous areas, it's his weakness. We are winning this game,” @malekatokel posted on X.
