As the country celebrates Heritage Month, one of the significant months in the South African calender, Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi has also shared what it means to her.

Tunzi has announced that she is set to be the judge for Takealot‘s Heritage Day design challenge.

Sharing a video on her Instagram account she said, “ What does heritage mean to me? Heritage is a love letter that was written by those who came before us. Heritage is a home.”

“I am also excited to announce that I am a judge for Takealot’s Heritage Day design challenge. Don't forget to showcase your challenge by reimagining the takealot.com box. The winning design will be printed on one million takealot boxes. Plus the winner will win a R100,000 takealot.com voucher and a voucher to donate to a South African charity. Simply WhatsApp “Hi”to 079 820 6641.” shared Tunzi.

Heritage Day, commemorated every year on 24 September, celebrates and recognises the cultural wealth of the country.

South Africans mark the day by honouring the heritage of the many cultures that make up the country’s overall population.

Various events are staged throughout the country to commemorate this day.

Apart from recognizing heritage day, Tunzi has also been taking up space on various platforms, showcasing her talent beyond pageantry.

A few years after her unforgettable entrance on both the local and international stages, the beauty queen has kept her name on top of the game.

Last month Bona magazine caught up with the model, who looked every inch the regal beauty in its front cover.

The Star also reported on how Tunzi was living it up in Italy on her envy-worthy vacation.

She stepped out in exquisite bikinis during the holiday, matching the rejuvenating beach moods of Rome.

Tunzi has served up a compelling range of different bold looks while abroad, captioning some of her stunning snaps: “When in Rome.”

The beauty queen also bagged a role in one of this year’s highly-anticipated films, ‘The Woman King’, which has a star-studded cast of both local and internationally acclaimed actors.

“I am so honoured and excited to announce that I have been cast for the film, 'The Woman King'," Tunzi wrote on Instagram.

‘’ It is a completely new world and first-time experience for me so I enter it with the utmost respect and humility. Forever grateful and looking forward."
