THE Melanie Kisten Dance Academy (MKDA) and Big Ammas House of Entertainment will host the comedy and dance drama He Said, She Said, They Said on August 10 at the The Globe at Suncoast from 8pm.

The production, released during Women’s Month, will celebrate women in their true beauty, shape and form. It will feature Melanie Kisten, Desiree Kisten, Bhavanie Kisten, Krishna Subrayan, Lucian Govender, Kubeshan Kyra Kiki and Elaine Govender.

In a small town, a mother and her son navigate the complexities of their relationship while dealing with the influences of the gossip of society. The mother, struggling with her past decisions and trying to protect her son, finds herself entangled in the town's gossip network of men and women.

Meanwhile, her son grapples with his own identity and desires, often caught between loyalty to his mother, his love life and the allure of the gossip aunties’ tantalising stories. As secrets unravel and tensions rise, the duo must confront the consequences of their actions and decide what truly matters in their lives.

“So, let's make a potion. Take an old-fashioned yet modern day mother, add her 40-year-old ‘virgin’ son, mix in some gossiping ladies that burn with envy, lace that with some jealous friends and let’s decorate it with some twisted gold diggers. And there you have it: A twisted comedy with total chaos that will give you the perfect recipe for disaster in this small town,” said Melani Kisten.

“This new production is guaranteed to bring you nail-biting comedy coupled with suspense and exhilarating performances by the MKDA dance troupe. The production is spiced with comedy, drama and a tear jerking moral,” she added.

Tickets are priced from R150 and are available via Ticketpro. For further details call Melanie Kisten on 083 235 1207 or email mkda2zn@gmail.com
